Full Service Door to Door

Most families want a Full Service, Door to Door move. This service starts with a pre-move survey so we can give a price based on your family’s specific needs. This survey is done by our local (to your home overseas) partner – the same folks that will ultimately come and do the actual packing and loading of your goods.

Note that our Full Service has limits as to what we do, and we can offer other services if you want or need them.

In most cases, we won’t know where we are delivering to until after we have done the pick-up. In that case, we will make some standard assumptions about access. Once you know the exact delivery address, let us know. If we know at the time of quoting, we can account for any concerns at destination (like access) specific to your new home here.

Door to Door Full Service Includes:

  • Personalized help with all paperwork throughout the process
  • Secured pick-up date
  • Receipt of larger new purchases directly to our partner warehouse from 30 to 2 days before pick-up
  • Full packing of boxes including materials
  • Disassembling of furniture as required (usually beds and large tables)
  • Wrapping of furniture
  • For FCL – Direct Load into container (or Shuttle if the survey indicates it’s needed) and transport to Container Terminal
  • For LCL – Transfer to our local partner’s warehouse, load into wooden lift-vans or secured onto pallets (or both) and (if needed) trucking to our consolidating warehouse. Loading into a consolidated container
  • Transport to port of Exit
  • Export Customs Release Procedures and Paperwork
  • Local Port Fees and THC
  • Ocean Freight and Current Surcharges
  • Local Port Fees and Standard Local Charges (Delivery Order, THC, Charges by the Port Company and Ship Line Agent. For LCL, Standard Bonded Warehouse Charges)
  • Sales Tax and/or VAT on services as required by law
  • Import Customs Release Procedures and Paperwork
  • Delivery to your home
  • Unloading of boxes and furniture and placement in the rooms you instruct us
  • Unwrapping of furniture and assembly of simple beds and kitchen or dining table by the crew
  • Carpenter assembly of other furniture we took apart overseas
  • Removal of rubbish and return of container

Not Included in Door to Door Full Service

  • Marine Insurance
  • Storage and Demurrage (Late Container Return Fee) as follows (If you want or need storage, let us know as early as possible to review options and charges):

FCL Shipments have virtually no free storage. You must be in Israel and get us the paperwork before the container arrives, and you must be ready to receive the cargo right away. Our quote includes up to 7 calendar days from Ship’s Arrival to Delivery (It usually takes Customs up to 7 days to release a container of household goods).

LCL Shipments get 30 days free storage in transit in Israel, and all Storage in Transit outside of Israel is included.

  • Customs/security Inspection (if applicable)
  • Electric ladder, crane, difficult access (more than 20 meters from truck to front door or more than 2 flights by foot.)
  • Customs duties, force majeure, war, strike or congestion related fees
  • Reassembly of pressed wood (Ikea or flat pack) furniture, installation of appliances
  • Piano, safe or heavyweight handling besides as listed above.
  • Unpacking of Boxes
  • Additional pickup of debris after delivery
